Description This project aimed at creating a retrospective national bibliography for the period 1601 to 1700. All German-language titles and all works printed in the historical German-speaking area are listed, regardless of their language. In the period from October 1996 to June 2009, the SLUB processed and recorded about 78,000 title records in the VD 17, of which about 17,400 print copies are in the sole possession of the SLUB.
