SLUB Dresden is your space for learning and at the same time a place to meet. With us, there is an infinite amount to discover and try out. The offer is open to everyone, because our maxim is: Share knowledge, connect people! Do you have questions about the library, would you like to learn more about a particular topic or exchange ideas with others? Feel free to take advantage of our free consultation and course offerings!

No academic work can be done without sound research. The SLUB offers numerous extended research options, e.g. in specialist databases, newspapers or the ‘Material Hub’ materials library. Our advice and services on academic writing and research data management provide you with valuable tips.

Openness as a maxim for action - the SLUB attaches particular importance to openness and in providing an as open as possible access to publications, digital objects and content, thus promoting the continuous growth of knowledge both internally and externally.
