Electronic Publication

The electronic version is published on the Saxon document and publication server Qucosa according to the principle of open access.

What you need for electronic publishing:

An digital version of your thesis in PDF/A format (see Details on the formal presentation).

A filled in and signed Deposit-License for electronic publication on Qucosa.
A number of bound printed copies of your thesis as specified in the applicable doctoral regulations (see Details on the formal presentation).

PhDs at the faculties Medicine, Law and Education please pay attention to the special guidelines of their faculties:

Register the document on Qucosa via the entry mask (fill in title, abstract, key words, name of the advisor, ...).
Upload the PDF.
Fill out and sign the Deposit-License (PDF).
Submit the printed copies together with the Deposit-License to the SLUB.

Submit the documents at Service Counter (Lending and Information) of the Central Library during the service hours.

An acknowledgement of reception is sent to your faculty as soon as we have checked the documents for formal correctness and completeness.
