You study architecture and need a model? Are you planning a wedding and want to create unique decorative elements? Do you love to tinker and craft - preferably with state-of-the-art equipment that private individuals rarely have access to? Then you have come to the right place! Here you can read which tools are available to you at SLUB Makerspace and how you can use them.

At SLUB Makerspace you can work with a wide variety of tools and devices. To use them independently, you will need to complete safety instructions and, for some, a device operating license. Read here how to acquire the certificates.

The rooms of SLUB Makerspace offer you the space you need to experiment, to do it yourself, and to exchange ideas with like-minded people. Devices and tools and the creative environment invite you to flexibly develop your ideas and put them into practice. The possibilities are diverse: work together with others or for yourself. Digitally, on-site or hybrid. As part of a university group, a start-up or a professorship. We look forward to hearing from you!

Sharing knowledge, learning from each other and experimenting together - that is what the SLUB Makerspace is all about. In our courses and workshops you will get to know all the devices and tools and meet other Makers and curious people. You will learn more about current projects from the SLUB Makerspace as well as the Makerscene and have the opportunity to organize events yourself.
