Interlibrary Loan from Out-of-town Libraries

You cannot find a certain title in the SLUB catalog?

Search for and order your desired title via the overall research portal BSZ. This portal includes all library networks. If your request is unsuccessful, you can enter known information on your title into the "Freie Eingabeformular". Not all all media might be available for lending at all times. For further information please consult the catalog of the respective library.

The delivery time is usually between one week and 14 days. There are no costs for interlibrary loan until further notice.

Printed volumes or carbon copies up to 20 DIN A4 pages will be provided free of charge. Copies from 21 pages onwards are at least 10 Cents per page (from the first page on).

Any additional charges accruing for the delivering library, cost for special postage, interlibrary loan via foreign libraries etc. are on your own account.

See also information on the delivery of articles from electronic journals published by Elsevier.

You have placed an order and are waiting for the title to be delivered?

The status of your interlibrary loan order can be viewed in your user account.

When your medium is available for retrieval you will be notified via email or post. Media ordered via interlibrary loan can be picked up at the circulation desk on presentation of you SLUBCARD.

Renewals of borrowed interlibrary loan media are possible as long as the respective lending library approves. Renewals can be requested via your user account three days before the expiration of your lending period at the earliest and only once per medium.
