Styrofoam is difficult to work with knives. With our styrofoam cutter, you can precisely shape the material into the desired form. Both 2D and 3D models are possible. In this way, you can produce architectural city building models as well as concrete formwork and much more.
... BOOK THE STYROFOAM CUTTER
The prerequisite for using the styrofoam cutter is a valid styrofoam cutter operating licence as well as a valid SLUBcard (or CampusCard with activated SLUB functionality) and safety instruction certificate.
Users with a device operating licence can book the styrofoam cutter independently. Appointments can be made up until the start time and up to 14 calendar days in advance.
If you have completed the styrofoam cutter operating licence before 2023, when we changed our booking system, we may not have activated your account for independent booking, yet. If this case applies to you, please log in to the booking system with your user number and password and send us an e-mail. We will activate your account as soon as possible.

- your valid SLUBcard or Campuscard with activated SLUB functionality
- your files on a USB drive (please bring a separate file in *.dxf format or *.dwg format for each plate)
- material to cutting
- a valid safety instruction certificate
