Family album of Valentin Tenner from Chemnitz - Mscr.Dresd.C.511

The family album was originally in the possession of Heinrich von Bünau (1697-1762), who owned a library of about 42,000 volumes at Nöthnitz Castle. The collection was one of the most extensive in Saxony and, among other things, formed the basis of today's SLUB Dresden.

The family album contains a total of 69 entries from the years 1558 to 1567, including an entry by the reformer Philipp Melanchthon (1497-1560).

The Tenner family album is available in the Digital Collections and in the Kalliope database.
