The family book of the pastor Ernst Gustav Eduard Kießling (1799-1866), who was born in Niederoderwitz and worked as a teacher at the citizen school in Zittau in 1824, contains entries of the theologian Christian Adolf Pescheck (1752-1826), pastor in Johnsdorf, Großschönau and from 1797 in Zittau, or of Ernst August Wilhelm von Kyaw (1771-1821), among other things a member of the Upper Lusatian Society of Sciences, from the family of an old noble family which owned the manor and castle of Hainewalde until 1927.

Two family registers of the father of Ernst Gustav Eduard Kießling from Hirschfelde near Zittau, who was pastor of Niederoderwitz from 1799, are also available in digital form.
