Assigning a Password and PIN
In order to use our electronic services and to log into your accounton the SLUB Website, you will need to have your user ID number at hand.
The first time you log into your account, you will use your date of birth for your password. Please change this password immediately after successfully logging in.
- Benutzernummer = your user ID number (library card number)
- Kennwort = password (date of birth: DDMMYYYY)
Changing Your Password
You can change your password in your online user account. Enter your old password in the first field and then your new password in the second and third fields. Click on the accept button to save the change. You can use numbers and letters. Special characters are not recommended.
In order to be able to use the self-service checkout and payment machines, you will need your user ID number and a personal identification number (PIN) consisting of 4 digits.
My Account: Assigning a PIN
Click on "PIN for machines" in your online user account. Enter your password and then enter your desired 4-digit number in the second and third fields. Click on the accept button to save your new PIN.
