We lead knowledge - and are looking for fellow knowers!

We hold knowledge in every form - traditional and contemporary: from the Codex Dresdensis of the Maya to original manuscripts of Martin Luther to the latest dissertations in all fields of science, from manuscripts of Johann Sebastian Bach's music to design photos of the 1920s to the most modern three-dimensional map programmes. We share knowledge and connect people: in training courses, our SLUBlog, discussion series, talk concerts and the Long Night of Science! And because knowledge comes from making, we expand our stock of several million media every day not only in the classic library way, but also in our TextLab and the SLUB Makerspace.
