Using commas: A quick guide

The usage of commas in German sentences can be tricky. To help you navigate in the sea of comma rules, this workshop will teach you the basics of German comma rules and exemplify them in German sentences. And of course you will also practice yourself by putting the missing commas into example sentences and texts. In the end, you’ll know the basic rules of how to use the German comma and can hopefully apply them to your own work.

Please be aware that this workshop does not aim to teach you about comma rules in English texts, so a basic understanding of the German language is still necessary to comprehend the contents of this workshop.
