secured WiFi in the SLUB

In cooperation with the TU Dresden's Centre for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH), all SLUB locations offer free access to the internet via secured WiFi.

All you need is a WiFi-enabled device and a valid SLUBCard or eduroam login.

This is how it works:

WiFi eduroam

Members of participating institutions are encouraged to use the eduroam WiFi. The settings must be configured before the first use. Eduroam provides a configuration assistance tool for this purpose. Here you can find instructions for the Eduroam setup. WiFi SLUB

All other users can connect to the internet via the secure network SLUB.

This network replaced the previous unsecured VPN/WEB network on 17 January 2022. It is no longer be possible to access the internet via the VPN/Web connection.
