Autumn cleaning: SLUB closing days

We literally use these two days for fall cleaning before the new semester begins in October and make the SLUB fit for the remaining opening days in the year, when several thousand visitors are on the move in our buildings every day during 'normal' times. We carry out maintenance, tidying up and room care work - all that is unfortunately not possible during regular operation. On both days, we clean, oil floors, dust shelves, give keyboards and screens a thorough cleaning, and carry out minor renovation and repair work.

In addition, there will be IT maintenance work, which may temporarily lead to restrictions in the use of the SLUB website, the catalog and the user account. 

We will be unavailable by phone and chat on September 8th and 9th, and there may be delays in responding to inquiries via our contact form.
