August-Bebel-Straße / TextLab Library
On Monday, 10.07.2023, construction work will take place all day in the August-Bebel-Straße library. The reason for this is the installation of acoustic panels, which will subsequently enable quieter working. Noise pollution is to be expected during the construction work on 10 July. In addition, the group study rooms T1, T2 and T3 as well as the TextLab will not be accessible. Individual workstations in the library will be available as usual. We thank you for your understanding!
The August-Bebel-Straße / TextLab Library is located near the campus area Weberplatz.
In addition to our wide range of educational literature on all topics you will also find special collections such as ecucational literature from the GDR. Selected diploma theses of the Faculty of Ecucation are available for in-house-use.
Study Spaces and Technology
Study spaces
For your studies, we offer more than 150 study spaces/desks, some of which are equipped with connection points for laptops. A group workroom for up to 15 people is available on the ground floor. To make a reservation, please use our room booking system.
Near the information desk, we offer internet workstations to use our online services. In addition, access to the campus-wide WiFi is provided.
Technology
Print items can now be scanned for free using a Bookeye 5 V3 colour overhead book scanner (up to A3 format). You can save your scanned documents to your own USB stick, send them by e-mail or transfer them to the "Scan2Mobile" app. We also have ScanTents available at all locations
