Provision of Closed Stack Items

All materials stored in our stacks can be ordered with some advance notice and then picked up in the self-collection areas and at the service counters of our libraries.

Deployment times

Central Library

  • Orders received before 1 p.m. from Monday to Friday can be collected on the same day in the self-collection area or at the service desk. Later orders will be made available for you on the next opening day (except Saturday and Sunday).
  • The materials are available for you to pick up for five opening days.

Library DrePunct/Makerspace

  • Orders received by 9.00 a.m. Monday to Friday will be available in the pick-up areas on the same day. Later orders are available for you on the next opening day (except Saturday and Sunday).
  • The materials are available for collection for five opening days.

External stacks

  • The delivery time for requested media from the external oft he Central Library, the DrePunct Library, the Interim Bergstraße Library and the Fiedlerstraße Library can be up to 10 days.
