Information Desk Music and Media Center
The Information Desk Music and Media Center (IP4) can be found on Level -1. Here you can find all sorts of audio-visual materials for borrowing.
You can also find answers to your questions concerning our music department and media center collections.
Located directly behind the IP4 are the Audio-Visual Workstations where you can watch films or listen to sound recordings. In order to use one of these stations, you need to sign in at the Information Desk (IP4), where you will also receive headphones.
If you would like to use our electric piano to play sheet music, you can sign up to use carrel number 25. Please inquire at the Information Desk Music and Media Center (IP4).
Required Course Audiovisual Materials
Upon request, we will set up a required course audiovisual collection for instructors teaching at the TU Dresden. Students registered for the course can sign up at the Information Desk (IP4) to gain access to the required collection for their course.
Digitization of records
The record player at our AV-workstations can be used for the personal digitization of records.
A user guide will help you to digitize and burn your files.
You can burn your own CD-blanks or buy blank CDs at Acribit. It is possible to digitize records from the SLUB as well as from private stock.
