With PUBLIA - SLUB Open Publishing, SLUB Dresden offers services related to Diamond Open Access. We see ourselves as a partner for publishers of scientific publications in all subject areas. We provide support for both new publications and the transfer of existing publications to Diamond Open Access. With our offer, publications can be implemented that are owned by researchers (scholar-owned), organized by the scientific community (scholar-led), operate for the common good (non-profit) and do not charge reading or publication fees of any kind.

Our aim is to promote a sustainable, fair and open publication culture. We stand for close cooperation in a spirit of partnership: every journal and every proceedings series is unique - which is why we work closely with our publishers to find individual solutions that are tailored to their needs and specialist requirements within the scope of the technical possibilities offered by OJS.

With OJS, PUBLIA offers a reliable technical infrastructure, comprehensive advice and professional services along the entire publication process. In this way, we support freely accessible, quality-assured and science-led publications.

All journals and conference publications hosted via PUBLIA are owned by the researchers. PUBLIA acts as a publisher or publication service provider. The researchers, who act as editors and reviewers of the journals and conference publications, are responsible for the content and scientific quality assurance. PUBLIA - SLUB Open Publishing has no influence on this. Details on the review procedures can be found on the websites of the journals and conference publications.
