Collective fee notice

Collective fee notices for TU employees, corporate users and interlibrary loan libraries

Special user accounts can be set up for TU employees to serve as collective fee notice accounts (Sammelgebührenbescheidskonten). Several collective fee notice accounts can be set up for each accounting unit (institute or institution). The fee notices for the respective accounting unit are issued every six months by SLUB.

Fee notices for interlibrary loan libraries are issued quarterly and those for corporate users every six months.

Several collective fee notice accounts can be combined in a single fee notice (for one institute or one billing address).

The individual allocation of the costs incurred to the respective person responsible is itemised in the fee notice. This increases cost transparency for TU institutes and corporate users.

Applying for and setting up collective fee notice accounts

On request, we can convert your existing SLUB account into a collective fee notice account. You must provide a legally binding declaration stating where the issued fee notices are to be sent and who is responsible for the associated costs.

The application must be submitted in writing. A separate application is required for each employee.

Eligible applicants

Eligible applicants are institutes of TU Dresden, persons responsible for cost centres within the faculties of TU Dresden, and authorised legal representatives of corporate users of SLUB Dresden. SLUB Dresden reserves the right to verify the legal authority and financial capacity of the person signing the declaration of assumption of costs and to make the establishment of a user account with collective fee notices dependent on the outcome of this verification.

The respective institution itself is responsible for determining the institutional affiliation of employees for whom such accounts are set up. Its legal representative decides for which employees or members of the institution the establishment of collective fee notice accounts is authorised (by declaring the assumption of costs) and receives the fee notice for all accounts assigned to the respective accounting unit.

SLUB reserves the right to verify the information provided. For this verification and for the library's internal identification of the recipient, a landline telephone number is requested (TU Dresden: usually a number within the TU network; other institutions: landline number including area code).
