Library and Media Education

Here you will find our specialist department for children's and youth libraries. The state specialist department advises, informs and supports Saxon children's and youth libraries on current topics, trends, event work and the local media service. We focus on language and reading promotion, media and information literacy, media education, democracy education and ESD. We also promote networking and professional exchange among employees in children's and youth libraries with formats such as "KiJuBi-Meet&Greet".

Current funding programs from the field (in German)

Ausschreibungsrunde findet vom 15. März bis zum 15. April 2026 statt.
