Emergency associations of Germany receive award
On 26.10.2017, the commitment of Germany's emergency associations and the associated network of emergency associations were honoured in Munich. The award with the "Riegel - KulturBewahren. Prize for the Protection, Care and Exhibition of Art and Cultural Assets (Schutz, Pflege und Ausstellen von Kunst- und Kulturgut)" took place following the event "The Green Museum (Das grüne Museum)" in the Mars-Venus Hall of the Bavarian National Museum. The award is presented by the trade journal "KulturBetrieb. Magazine for Innovative and Economic Solutions in Museums, Libraries and Archives (KulturBetrieb. Magazin für innovative und wirtschaftliche Lösungen in Museen, Bibliotheken und Archiven)" and is endowed with 2,100 Euros. On behalf of Germany's emergency associations, Michael John, chairman of the Dresden emergency association, received the "Riegel". Further information can be found here.
