Your apprenticeship
- Duration of the programme: three years, starting on 1 September each year. If you start on 1 September 2027, you should complete your apprenticeship on 31 August 2030.
- Dual block system: practical training at the SLUB Dresden, theoretical education at the Gutenbergschule Leipzig

Your qualifications
- At least a secondary school leaving certificate, with good to very good grades in German and English
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications
- Reliability, a sense of responsibility and a strong appetite for learning and working
- Physical resilience
- A passion for service-oriented roles

Your compensation
Your apprenticeship salary is determined by the collective bargaining agreement (TVA-L BBiG) applicable to apprentices employed by the German federal states. All amounts shown are gross monthly salaries:
1st year: €1.356,82
2nd year: €1.410,96
3rd year: €1.460,61

Your annual leave
You are entitled to 30 days of paid annual leave.

Selection procedure
What happens next? We check the documents received in detail and make our selection based on them. Have you received an invitation to an interview? Then please plan about one and a half hours for this appointment. In addition to an interview, which lasts about 45 minutes, there will also be a written aptitude test (also 45 minutes). After the successful selection process, we will send out our acceptance and rejection letters as soon as possible.
