Electoral Library

331 volumes from the possession of Elector August and his successors until the end of the 16th century (with the exception of the Jakob Krause volumes). These include manuscripts, incunabula and prints from the 16th century. Until 1945, the Electoral Library comprised 842 volumes, which are divided into 21 groups according to book-technical aspects.

Depending on the content, volumes are indexed via the SLUB catalogue, the manuscript catalogues and the incunabula catalogues.
