Are you looking for a specific map from today or from days gone by? You are sure to find what you are looking for at the SLUB: We offer you access to an extensive collection of maps and views from all over the world. A large part of them is available to you in high-resolution digitalised form in the Map Forum. In the Virtual Map Forum you also have access to several thousand georeferenced maps. The focus of the collection is on our region: You will find all geographical material that has been published in Saxony since the beginning of printing or that concerns Saxony.

This unique stock enables you to answer a wide range of questions from the humanities, monument conservation and landscape architecture, landscape, urban and traffic planning, from the fields of environmental protection and hydraulic engineering, traffic, building history and the history of castles, palaces and fortifications.
