Usage of the Stenographic Collection

<p>The Stenographic Collection is open to the public and its use is free of charge. Further information can be found in the <a href="t3://page?uid=5499">Use Regulations of the SLUB Dresden</a>.

<p>In the open access area Stenography on level -2 of the Central Library, more than 5,000 volumes as well as all periodicals that are continuously subscribed to are available during the opening hours of the SLUB<br />.
The majority of the <a href="t3://page?uid=7114">stock</a> is stacks and must be <a href="t3://page?uid=4077">ordered</a> . Orders can be placed either directly via the <a href="https://www.slub-dresden.de/">SLUB catalogue</a>, by loan slip or by means of <a href="t3://page?uid=4602">delivery service</a>. After a short time, these are either made available for loan or for reference use at the circulation desk of the Central Library <a href="t3://page?uid=4108">.</p>.

<p>Rare and valuable media are made available in the <a href="t3://page?uid=4690">Collections Reading Room</a>.</p>.

<p>The holdings of the Stenographic Collection are indexed by means of various <a href="t3://page?uid=7115">catalogues</a> or in internal inventories. Selected works on stenography can also be accessed as full text in the <a href="http://digital.slub-dresden.de/kollektionen/49/">Digital Collections</a>.</p>
