Otto Koch Collection

Otto Koch, who has worked in top gastronomy and as a television chef for many years, donated a collection of cookery books and menu cards to the SLUB.

Otto Koch has been working in top gastronomy since his training and opened his first own restaurant, Le Gourmet, in 1974, which was awarded a Michelin star in 1976 . From 2001 to 2009, he managed KochArt, which was also awarded a Michelin star, and was subsequently the patron of the restaurants in the Olympic Tower in Munich and has cooked over 900 times on the television programme ARD-Buffet since 1998.
