SLUB Overview - introductory course for new students

Get to know the SLUB as a central place for learning and studying! In this introductory session, you’ll receive helpful tips on how to use the library and learn about the wide range of information services and resources available to you.

Topics covered in the session:

• Registration and getting started
• Using your Campuscard
• Searching for print and digital media
• Self-service options at the SLUB
• Connecting to the library's Wi-Fi

We’ll also show you:

• how to access or request library materials,
• the 3D model of the library,
• and give an overview of all SLUB Dresden locations.

Previous knowledge:
None – this course is designed for beginners.

Bags and jackets must be stored in the lockers in the foyer before the session begins.
