LaTeX - Day: A whole day to get you started with LaTeX
Have you heard of LaTeX? With just a few commands you can create beautiful documents with high-quality typesetting. If you are curious to learn more and get started with writing your own documents in LaTeX you can join us for a full day of workshops in the Open Science Lab. The LaTeX-Day will start with a hands-on introductory workshop for newbies and continue with several modules covering more specific topics like managing citations with LaTeX, including source code, using institution-specific templates, producing documents in PDF/A format, as well as writing non-academic type of documents. The day will close with a get-together to exchange ideas and tips about what you have learned and get to know other LaTeX newbies and advancies.
The LaTeX-Day is a hybrid event, i.e. it will be held in person at the Open Science Lab with the opportunity to join the talks and workshops online via Zoom.
All workshops will be in English.

Katharina Zinke studierte Psychologie an der TU Dresden, promovierte im Bereich Entwicklungspsychologie und arbeitete an der TU Dresden und der Universität Tübingen im Bereich der entwicklungspsychologischen / neurowissenschaftlichen Forschung. Seit Mai 2022 verstärkt sie das Open Science Lab der SLUB zum Thema Forschungsdaten und betreut das Fachreferat Psychologie. Zudem steht sie als Wissensmanagerin für den Bereich Mathematik und Naturwissenschaften für fakultätsübergreifende Fragen zur Verfügung.
