Publishing on the Internetto top

In addition to publishers also libraries, universities and scientific institutions enable electronic publishing on document repositories. Members of the institutions can publish their academic papers free on the Internet (especially dissertation theses, research papers and conference proceedings, articles…). The copyright of the author is protected. Usually an additional publication in journals, books or other repositories is possible. A quotable, permanent access to the electronic document is secured by assigning a persistent identifier (e.g. DOI, URN).

Open-Access-Publishing on Qucosato top

An increasingly important form of electronic publishing is the Open-Access-Publishing which provides free access to scientific literature on the Internet.

The SLUB offers the document repository Qucosa, a Saxon fulltext and research system. It documents and permanently archives documents of science and economy and is open to all interested authors.
