The Book Museum has an area for special exhibitions which surrounds the treasure room.

In the treasure room precious objects of the collections of the SLUB are presented. Beside the famous Maya-Manuscript, unique manuscripts, incunabula and autographs of famous personalities are shown.

• Guided group tours can be registered by phone under +49 351 4677-374 or by E-Mail (tour@slub-dresden.de).
• Public guided tours through the treasure room are offered from february every Saturday 14:00 and the fourth Tuesday of every month 18:00. The dates are published in the event calendar.
  This service is realised by two voluntary students.
• Entrance and tour are free.
• Taking photographs and making films in the Book Museum and the treasure room is subject to approval.

Please register with the guard service in the entrance hall. You can also phone the guard service with the telefon at the Book Museum Tel. 377. Entrance and guided tours are free.
